No Time for Homemade Gluten Free Baked Goods? Try Lucky Spoon Bakery!
Sometimes I find myself not having enough time in the day to possibly bake snacks, and treats for my gluten intolerant daughter. I often rely on pre-packaged gluten free baked goods because they are simply convenient. However, sometimes they do not meet my expectations and have my family feeling jipped. Unfortunately, some companies claim to make the best gluten free baked goods, but in reality they taste like cardboard, and leave us feeling unsatisfied.
After running into a few of these less than pleasing occasions, I decided to scour the web for companies that provided gluten free baked goods that tasted liked they were homemade. I know I was taking a real gamble, but having just been delving into the gluten-free lifestyle for 3 months, I needed to expand my horizons. That is when I came across the Lucky Spoon Bakery-I really loved their name so I decided to check them out.
Since my little girl can be really picky, I asked this company if they were willing to send me some samples to try out before I became a customer. Luckily they generously obliged, and sent me four of their products:
- Peanut Butter Chocolaty Chip Cookies
- Lemonlicious Muffins
- Utterly Almond Muffins
- Cinnamony Streusel Muffins
Our items arrived quickly, and safely packaged. I admit, I have been sitting on this review for a while now. I put these treats in my deep chest freezer, hit a huge sale one day, and the saying “out of site, out of mind” really worked! It wasn’t until my little girl asked me to make cookies that I remembered I had the one and only Lucky Spoon Bakery gluten free baked goods in my freezer!
We tried the Peanut Butter Chocolaty Chip Cookies first because that is what my daughter requested. I couldn’t even let them defrost fully because my kids are so impatient. Since these cookies looked AMAZING I decided to try them myself. To make it sweet and straight to the point, these were probably the best gluten free cookies I’ve EVER tasted thus far! They were even better than my own!! I just really wish there were more than six in the package!!
The next day we tried the muffins. Lucky Spoon Bakery’s gluten free muffins are small and cute. Since they are tiny, I decided we would splurge and try each flavor I received. Like the cookies, they were so good, and hard to resist! I found these gluten free baked goods to be tasty, moist, and perfect for snacks, or breakfasts! My little girl gave them two thumbs up, and her opinion is what really matters to me because she has to eat gluten free by no choice of her own (not a bad thing).
Overall, I give Lucky Spoon Bakery two thumbs up for delivering a great product for those of us who like the occasional day off from baking! I suggest you head over to their official site to check them out, and see which of your local markets carry these amazing products. You can also connect with them on social media sites Facebook & Twitter.
