Homemade Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe
I recently had the opportunity to work with the kind folks at Sir Kensington’s. They make divine sauces like ketchup and mayonnaise that contains all natural, and premium ingredients. I was able to test out their Classic Ketchup, Spiced Ketchup, Classic Mayonnaise and their latest Chipotle Mayonnaise Products. You can view my full product of Sir Kensington’s Products on our site.
In honor of having four wonderful products to try, I decided I wanted to naturally incorporate one of them into a nice, easy to make recipe. I had chicken wings defrosted, so I decided to make a Homemade Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe using Sir Kensigton’s Classic Ketchup.
Simplicity in the kitchen is something I am very big on. When you have three kids that tend to all have a hunger meltdown around 4:30 each afternoon, you learn to streamline your recipes. I had fresh garlic, plenty of honey, and Robbie’s All Natural Worcestershire Sauce, and of course Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup on hand, so my recipe was gluten free, and safe for my entire family to consume.
Homemade Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 lbs of chicken wings, wingets, or drunsticks
- 4 cloves of finely minced garlic
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Robbie’s All Naturals Gluten free Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 tablespoons of Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup (has such a rich, unique flavor)
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- salt & pepper to tatse
Directions:
Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Pour the melted butter over your wings, and add salt and pepper to taste-bake them for 45 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, add your minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup Robbie’s All Naturals gluten- free Worcestershire (can use regular too); mix thoroughly; set aside.
At the 45 minute mark, pour the homemade honey garlic sauce over you chicken wings. Set them in the oven for at least 15 more minutes. You will want to bake these wings in a shallow baking dish for 1 hour (total time) minimum. If you like your wings crispy, go for the 90 minute mark–I love crispy chicken skin myself so I did the full 90- minutes.
When your chicken is done, serve with a potato, rice, or salad. We had our’s with my Copycat Chipotle’s Cilantro Lime Rice Recipe.
I hope your family enjoys our sweet and savory Homemade Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe.
