Celebrate National Children’s Dental Month with Dinosaur Train Review & Giveaway!

Dinosaur Train Dental Gift Pack Celebrate National Childrens Dental Month with Dinosaur Train Review & Giveaway! When it comes time to brush their teeth, my kids are some of the best little reminders–they remind me!!! I think they would seriously brush their teeth all day if I allowed them to! My little guy goes straight for all of our tooth brushes when I accidentally leave the bathroom door open. I guess all those good dental habits I instilled in my kids early on is really paying off, or maybe its the minty toothpaste??

Did you know that February is National Children’s Dental Month? In honor of this month, the Jim Henson company has teamed up with Random House Children’s Books, and PBS Distribution to bring both us, and one lucky reader their very own Dinosaur Train Gum Twin Pack toothbrush set, the Little Golden Book Buddy’s Teeth, and the new Dinosaur Train DVD: I love Dinosaurs.

My kids were super excited to receive this very awesome prize pack! They are dying to try out their new Dinosaur Train Tooth brushes, but we had just changed out their tooth rushed so they will not be able to use them for another few weeks. We have used Gum children’s toothbrushes in the past, and like their designs, and small kid friendly handles, and suction cup bottoms.

Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.  This year’s theme is “Join the Super Smile Team.”

Follow these helpful tips for strong teeth and a healthy smile!

  • Twice a day: Brush your teeth when you wake up and before you go to bed.
  • Take your time: Brush your teeth for 2 minutes and be sure to include your tongue!
  • Be kind to your gums: Brush with a soft bristle toothbrush.
  • Get the hard to reach places: Floss your teeth at bedtime.
  • See your Dentist twice a year!

I have to say that I LOVE Little Golden books so much! I grew up reading them, and love the little character parade on the back that tells the Little Golden Books story. Buddy’s Teeth was no exception when it came to being a great book. This books actually retells the popular Dinosaur Train Episode where Buddy loses his teeth. My 6 year old really loved this book because she is at the “missing tooth stage”. It really does seem as if the tooth fairy has needed to make a weekly visit to our home!

Lastly, we also received a copy of  the dvd: I Love Dinosaurs. This was the perfect Valentine’s Day read, and is 50- minutes long. Featuring four outstanding adventures and two Be My Valentine Cards, Dinosaur Train: I Love Dinosaurs makes for an outstanding Valentine’s Day treat! Two of the stories included on this DVD are King Meets Crystal and Erma and the Conductor. In King Meets Crystal, King Cryolophosaurus is interested in becoming friends with Crystal, but he gets nervous when trying to talk to her. Tiny and Buddy help King overcome his nervousness. In Erma and the Conductor, the Pteranodon family is on the Dinosaur Train headed to the Big Pond to watch a meteor shower!  Mr. Conductor stops to pick up Erma Eoraptor, his best friend.

Guess what? One lucky reader is going to receive this very amazing prize pack just like we received!! Enter below for your chance at winning!
